Did you know that riding down the slide with your little one on your lap is extremely dangerous?
I didn't until I saw a little one break their leg at the park one day. It was shocking and heartbreaking.
I really believe there should be posted signs but since there isnt Im sharing with you now so this doesnt happen to you. Please pass the word along to other moms to save them a trip to the hospital and check out a few stories moms have shared with me this week about their little ones below.
FAST FACTS:
➡️Age most injured on slide
12-24 months old
➡️ Part most injured on slide
Lower leg (fractures)
➡️ Common method of injury
Sitting on parents lap
HOW IT HAPPENS:
Parent puts child on lap to slide down
Child is wearing sneakers
Sneaker grips side of slide
Leg gets trapped between adult + slide and twists
THE RESULT
HOW TO PREVENT BROKEN LEGS FROM SLIDES
✅ Let child slide alone
✅ Remove sneakers if you must slide together
✅ Make sure arms and legs stay away from edges if you must slide together

I love it!
I got the pink plaid and it’s so soft and cute. The only, I wish it was thicker for those colder days. I will say, I used the blanket today, along with another small blanket, and it just proved how well it was designed. My daughter loves to kick the blanket off of her feet, and she did just that with the extra blanket. The Velcro strap on this blanket ensured the blanket wasn’t going anywhere.

Better than expected
I had the lightest version which was nice for all year, but with colder days coming I ordered this version and its better than expected. Definitely thick but not too heavy, well-made and baby loves it!

I purchased the pink for my new granddaughter for Christmas. We live in AZ so it doesn’t really get that cold. Being a Nana of 6, I hate taking coats on and off at the car seat. I’m really happy that I found the buckle me coat.

Best pjs EVER!
I have tried bamboo pajamas from SO many different brands, but none are as good as the BMBC pjs. They're actually buttery soft, hold up extremely well in the wash, and my baby can wear them for so long due to the extendable arms/legs and stretchy material. My 14 month old is 95th percentile for height and weight and the 6/9 month BMBC pjs still fit him!!! Cannot recommend this company enough. And Dahlia, the owner, is so sweet and responsive.
