The only reason to buy this coat is because you need to buckle in your child while it's freezing outside and you don't want them and yourself to freeze while you fuss with a jacket coming off and on. This jacket does it PERFECTLY as advertised. The warmth of the jacket seems great and putting the child in the seat with the jacket on was not difficult.
I took off one star only because when you're not using it in relationship to the car seat, it is a bit more of a hassle to use. To be fair, I have only just received it so maybe in time I will forget, but on first impression all the velcro and zippers and stuff take just a bit more effort than a normal jacket. However, once secured it was fine.
Overall, though, I would highly recommend this jacket for its purpose.

My 2nd coat as my child gets older!
I can't find another jacket on the market like this. It's so great that I can slap this jacket on my child and walk outside in the cold and know I don't need to get him out and in again in the car seat. Such a great thinking product! Great idea, better quality, and best customer service.

A must have
This has been such a (not to be dramatic) lifesaver so far this winter… it’s such a hassle to bundle and unbundle the baby up getting in and out of the car but this is easy to use, keeps baby warm… there was a learning curve for my husband on how to use it lol but I believe it works well

Great multifunctional coat for carseat and cold weather wear.
This was a special request for my granddaughter, her mother is pretty particular and thought this would bethe perfect solution to keeping the baby warm and safe in the carseat. Plus can be worn as a regular coat.

Very convenient
We live in a cold winter climate so having this has made it so much better with a little one having to get in and out of the car but staying warm. We no longer have to run from the house to the car and feel comfortable knowing our little one is ok temperature wise. The neck part does get in the way a little bit we love it for the colder months.
