I ordered a green toastier coat for my 1 year old. Now when I did receive it that there was a tear in the jacket. But customer service made it simple in easy to file a claim to receive another one which was great. I had 1 already for my son but it became to small. I love these coats though they make it easy to just buckle your child without removing the coat. As well it gives me the peace of mind knowing he is sitting safely in his car seat. Definitely would recommend and be riding another once this one get too small again.
I really like the size and function of this car blanket. The only negative is the velco that goes behind the neck is very small. A larger piece would secure it better and not wear it out as quickly.
Love our car seat coat. This is our second year ordering and will be coming back again next year. Perfect for bringing kids out without having to take their coats on and off in the cold.
I got a size 3-6 months when my baby was only 2 months and it just fit right but the arms and legs are too long. By the time my baby is 4 months we can’t use it already.. we probably used it 4 times from when I bought it. Every other bunting i got fit her with room to spare for layering, but this infant snowsuit fits extra snug. I think it needs to specify that you need to size up from your baby’s regular clothing size or it just needs to be bigger overall, especially the crotch area.
It’s not much different than the regular blanket we had been using except it has sleeves. Unfortunately, my two-year-old granddaughter wants nothing to do with having her arms in the sleeves so we just use it like a regular blanket but I think the regular blanket we were using is warmer than this one is. For us, it was not worth the money it cost.
I love the idea of this concept, probably better on toddler who can sit straight, but on infants not comfortable, my baby is under 6m and kept sliding down before I buckle him up. I ll return this and try next year winter with just a coat, not an onesie
This product is great. I was thinking about a coat for my grandson that he could wear in his car seat, and I was told about the Buckle Me Coats. It works great and keeps him warm.

I work at the Turnpike and I get sick of seeing babies drug and just pajamas cause people don’t wanna waste time putting a coat on them. This is wonderful because I can wrap a baby in it. They’re still warm.
The seller responded to my first review with what they know is a lie! I sent them a photo of the coat showing that there is no iron-on label (there was a sticker but it was easily removable). They even agreed to let me return the coat but when I asked them to send me a shipping label the said I was threatening them (for saying that what they are doing is fraudulent, which it is) and stopped responding. I have had to contest the charge on my credit card instead of them processing a simple return. The photo provided shows where they claim the iron on label was.
Customers coat had an iron-on nametag on the product label and as such the coat was not eligible for return and was returned to sender per our return policy.
We live this jacket. It’s so convenient and comfortable for our little guy

I was worried about how to keep my baby warm during the cold months in Ohio. I personally can warm up my car first but my sister cannot. I stumbled upon these coats and went back and forth. I bought a poncho and two other coats before I caved. I feel so much better that she is warm and safe in her car seat. I rarely write reviews, but this company offers 20% off for a review so if that tells you anything, I’ll be buying another one for next year-I wanted the discount.
Just got the buckle me baby blanket the other day. It’s super soft and warm. I look forward to using it in the car seat and stroller to keep my little monster warm. I think I’m going to order a coat for her as well for those extra cold days!
We’ve always loved these coats first my daughter now for my son. They make buckling with a coat so much easier and safer and my kids are always warm!

Kind of disappointing, tbh. Very lightweight and doesnt seem like it will keep baby warm.
To begin I think this is a fabulous idea so I ordered 2 of these and when received them I was excited to open them And I was shocked & Disappointmented ! The material is extremely thin so thin that you can see right thru it and these were not cheap ! ! And I surly do not understand how this would be warm for the baby 😠 So with this being said I am returning them …

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The blankets arent see through but the one you purchased is Cozy which is our lightest line. We have three lines of blankets and four lines of coats so families can choose what works best for their family and weather.

We have used Buckle Me Baby coats for 5 years now, but with our daughter we decided to try the new “toastiest” version. We love how warm it is but it is very complicated with all the Velcro and magnets and the warm neck piece digs into her neck a lot. The back Velcro pulls her hair. Shes one, and honestly I wish we would have gotten the regular one for her but it’s inconvenient to have to send back and wait for a new one as long as we would have to. I would recommend up to toasty. Still a great coat for the car seat!
The only reason to buy this coat is because you need to buckle in your child while it's freezing outside and you don't want them and yourself to freeze while you fuss with a jacket coming off and on. This jacket does it PERFECTLY as advertised. The warmth of the jacket seems great and putting the child in the seat with the jacket on was not difficult.
I took off one star only because when you're not using it in relationship to the car seat, it is a bit more of a hassle to use. To be fair, I have only just received it so maybe in time I will forget, but on first impression all the velcro and zippers and stuff take just a bit more effort than a normal jacket. However, once secured it was fine.
Overall, though, I would highly recommend this jacket for its purpose.
I would not buy again it is poorly made.
Got this for my granddaughter. It is so soft and she loves it. Such convenient protection getting her in and out of the car. Recommended it to several of my "Grandma" friends 😊
