I came back to this page hoping to update the text of my review after being contacted by the company. I realized that my previous review didn’t convey the message I was hoping to give. However, when I came back to the page I see that my review has been deleted! Probably since I was the only review to mention that the pjs are not completely leak proof.
I bought one of these for my four month old in preparation for upcoming car and plane travel. We are seriously struggling with blowouts the moment they happen. My daughter will be eating in my lap, I will hear her go to the bathroom, and it will immediately soak through her outfits. We have tried multiple diaper brands and are working to figure out this issue. I am not letting her sit with a dirty diaper on purpose.
The response from the company implied that I was trying to keep my daughter in a dirty diaper for multiple hours on purpose. It was a kind, well meaning message, and it made me realize I should have worded my review differently. I am NOT hoping this product would let me go hours on end without changing her diaper.
I would love to be able to change my daughter the moment she has gone to the bathroom but this is not always possible. Sometimes I am unaware that she has gone to the bathroom since it doesn’t seem to bother her. Additionally, if I am traveling on a plane, I might not be able to get up and change her for a while due to turbulence, a long landing/taxi to the gate, or for other various reasons. When traveling by car, if I am unaware that she has a dirty diaper it might be two hours before we stop (two hours is the suggested time limit in a car seat for her age) or it might be a while before there is a safe place to pull over.
I saw this product online and was very hopeful that it might be the solution to my problem. The $39.99 ($33.99 with a discount code) price was significantly more than the average price I would like to pay for pjs that my daughter will outgrow in a couple of months, but the advertising showed a great product and the reviews were good.
In anticipation of traveling soon, I tried out this blowout blocker outfit twice. Once overnight and once for a one hour car ride. During the one hour car ride, my daughter went to the bathroom and the outside of the pjs had some leakage (see photo). These pjs are advertised to protect car seats/parents’ laps/etc especially during travel. After my test run, I don’t believe these work completely as advertised on their website and instagram. Yes, they will (hopefully) cause a smaller mess, but the complete mess free outside seen in their photos and videos isn’t what I experienced 1 out of the 2 times I have used this product. For the price, I don’t believe I received the quality of product I was hoping for. On our upcoming travels I could still have had a mess within a normal amount of time.
My two star rating is mainly for the false advertising. If I had seen images or videos showing LESS mess compared to other brands instead of NO mess, then I would have been able to make a better informed decision on whether this item was worth $33.99 for my family.
Thank you for your candid and thoughtfulyl revised review. The first version was removed as the way it was written could be confused to imply your little one was in her diaper for hours and we did not want other parents to read that and believe that is the intended use of the product.
The blowout blockerz do work and Im glad your first experience was a positive one. It is impossible for seams to block any leak completely as the threads will absorb liquid and eventually seep through - although this process will be very slow.
In all our videos and social media content we show 'leaks' being poured on the back of the pajama and down the leg as that is where babies usually blowout their diapers. It is rare for the blowout to be right on the seam line but as they did not work for you we did provide a return label and wish you and your little one a happy spring.
Easy to use - baby was comfortable and no tears in the carsear!
Soft, comfortable, cozy. My three year old asks again and again to wear these! I love the print and that they are bright but also neutral. Highly recommend!
We got the Buckle Me just in time for the first winter blast. Love the ease of getting her coat on. Our little love seems quite cozy.
Got this for my son for cold days in the stroller or car and it is perfect! So soft he fell asleep cuddling with it. He’s very active and usually kicks blankets off so I love how we can put his arms in and he is warm but can still play
Bought for my daughter who will be one year soon. Since the shipping and taxes are super expencise I bought in size for a 2 year old Handling seems to be easy but haven't tried it yet in the car.
The jammies are very soft, come in cute patterns, and make it easy to change diapers in with the two way zipper. Fit was true to size, and I like that the fold over cuffs will make them last longer!
I love that they are super comfortable and cute. I can have his hands and feet covered on cold nights or or on warm nights. Plus he looks super adorable in them.
absolutely best purchase I made for new baby. Makes it easy to load up the little one on cold mornings getting older siblings to school etc.
Love these so much! The fabric design is awesome! These are very similar to our Little Sleepies, but the feet have a grip on them. The feet and hands seems a little bigger, too, which will hopefully help them last even longer! Love!
I have been looking all over for options that would best serve our g-tube fed baby! I just which I had found these sooner. Absolutely love all the options.
I absolutely love these pjs they’re amazing, unbelievably comfortable, and very convenient as they can be used for on the go in the cold. This was a great & friendly company to work with!
Got one for my daughter. She loved it so much that I bought for two other littles in our lives. They love their blankies just as much. None of us even live in a very cold climate. But it’s a little chilly in the car in the morning and it really helps then. Also, I like my air conditioner to be pretty cold and my daughter gets chilly. This way we we’re both comfortable. She LOVES that she can use her arms while still being cozy!
AMAZING pajamas. Worth EVERY Penny. They are so soft and the cuffs on hands and feet are even longer than Little Sleepies. AND the feet have grippers on them so I don't have to take my son's feet out while he plays in his exersaucer. LOVE these jammies.

Getting the squirm-bug into this coat is very easy. And now keeping him warm in between homes to cars is also easy! I was worried, with how much travel he did his to keep him warm and safe in his seat. Problem solved! I highly recommend a buckle me baby coat for anyone with a little one in a car seat

I wish I would have saved myself some money and bought the middle thickness coat. The hood is weird. Can’t stand it. And the zelcro gets covered in the white fur lining… making it so when you just use the zelcro (like for quick trips) it comes undone before they get to the car. Unless you sit there and pick out all the stick fur
This coat is a life saver in so many ways from not having to worry about my son being cold to knowing he will still be safe while wearing a warm jacket in the car seat. We won't be needing any other brands of winter jackets after trying this one!
My son has been growing like a weed and this coat has fit him well all through winter. He looks super cute and using the coat with a car seat is really easy. I love that I can just throw this jacket on to take his older brother out to the bus and just Velcro it instead of sitting him down so we can zip it all up. It is also super warm for hockey practices, snow days, and outside trips to the zoo!
Looks/feels warm! Love the high neck, it’s the main reason we upgraded, for cold Canadian winters.
May only wish is that it had the Velcro the whole way up where the zipper is, instead of just the bottom. (Like the toasty version) It was a time saver when running from the house to the car.
This is my first child, and her second winter, however her first winter outside the home. I could never find a good solution to keep her warm enough here in Michigan, but also didn't make her carseat buckles too loose. This coat is perfect! It is warm, but can be left unzipped as well in the seat. I love the material and pattern it's so cute! The hood zips off and magnetic closure. It's also nice it has a zipper down the front as well. It is expensive, but I'm hoping will last 2 winter seasons with the size I chose-it is large on my daughter but she Is VERY small for her age as she was a preemie. I recommend!
I was so nervous about keeping my child warm in Winter- it gets very cold here up north- and I wasn’t happy with a blanket being my only option. From day 1 I was very impressed with the design and warm of my buckle me baby coat. I felt safe knowing my child is securely buckled in, but still warm. Great design, easy to use, and I love the colors!
Love this hat. Fits my 1 and 3 year old with room to grow. I wish it had a chin strap but I’ll probably just sew one on. Great hat :)
