🏠 Goes On at Home – Stays On Safely in Car Seats

❄️ Perfect for snowy outdoor play
🚨 Keeps little ones warm if you are stranded awaiting rescue

As a mom, I was frustrated with unsafe, bulky traditional coats that didn’t fit car seats and left my kids cold without coats in emergencies. I worked with Child Passenger Safety Technicians and rescue responders, tested coat after coat, and designed one that actually works for parents.

Are They Safe?

Every coat is crash tested and CPST approved. The coats have a thinner back panel and Secure Me Strips™ on the shoulders that allows the harness to sit directly on your child’s chest and shoulders for the perfect harness fit.

We know safety is not only about fit. Our coats are also all PFOA/PFAS-free, because forever chemicals don’t belong in children’s clothing.

And if you ever face an emergency on the road, the coat is designed to keep your little one warm while you wait for rescue.

Are They Warm?

The coats are insulated with Seawool a material made of crushed oyster shells and recycled water bottles. Seawool is thermoregulating and breathable, but also warmer than traditional fill. It creates countless tiny air pockets that hold heat like nature’s perfect insulator.

The outer fabric is wind and water resistant, perfect for snowy outdoor play. The inside has a cozy fleece lining and kangaroo pockets for extra warmth for tiny and fingers.

Are They Bulky?

Typical winter coats look puffy but aren’t actually warm. That’s because the fill is blown in, leaving cold “leaky spots” where stitching breaks up the insulation.

We use intact Seawool panels that stay in place. This eliminates cold gaps, creating a slimmer coat that is actually warmer than down. Your child stays safely buckled in the car seat and comfortable without the marshmallow puff.

Are They Easy?

Parents love skipping the coat struggle. No more struggling with layers in freezing parking lots or battling to take traditional coats on and off. Toasty goes from house to car to destination without slowing you down.

Quick transitions mean kids buckle in faster, and you can finally stop juggling ponchos, blankets, and backups. One coat does it all.

Yes there are other workarounds out there but:

Ponchos and blankets aren’t warm in a crash
Blankets fall on the ground out of reach when you need them (not to mention the constant washing),
Light fleece jackets are only good for quick dashes to the car - plus you STILL need to buy your little one a coat for the snow

Why Parents Love Buckle Me Baby Coats

Saves time: No more coat battles or endless layering
Peace of mind: Warm, safely buckled, and emergency ready

Why Kids Love Them

Cozy warmth on the road
Adventure-ready for outdoor play
Snuggly fleece lining and kangaroo pockets
No battles on the go (about coats anyway)

Why Seawool?

Seawool is made from recycled oyster shells and plastic water bottles. It’s soft as lamb’s wool, warmer than down, and sustainable.

Seawool panels retain heat evenly. That’s why our coats look trim, fit safely in car seats, and keep kids warmer than bulkier traditional coats.
